Their book:
€39.99 Hardback · 33 pages
The book where your little one is the hero: their face in the illustrations and their name in the title.
One morning, the sky over the city turns black: Doctor Storm wants to switch off the sun for ever. Your little one puts on their cape and mask and flies into action: they catch a bus falling off a bridge, rescue a kitten, stop a giant robot and bring the sun back to the city. That night, at dinner, they give a little wink. Nobody knows their secret.
A girl? The story calls her a “heroine”.
This is the book of Pablo, a sample child. Your little one's will be just the same, with their own face and name.
Pablo seemed an ordinary child, you'd agree,
but he kept a BIG secret… shhh! Soon you'll see.
One morning, all at once, the sky turned black:
Doctor Storm's thunder machine had come to attack!
“HA, HA, HA!” he roared. “This city is MINE!
Not by night, not by day, will the sun ever shine!”
Pablo saw the storm and said with a frown:
“A job for a hero! No storm will take my town!”
One spin, two spins, three… he twirled and twirled,
and in a cape and mask, he lit up the world!
SUPER PABLO had arrived, so strong and so fast:
the city's hero, brave as a lion, here at last!
He bent his knees and jumped… and WHOOSH! Up high,
between the skyscrapers he flew, fastest in the sky!
A lightning bolt split the great bridge right in two,
and a bus hung over the darkness… oh, what to do?
With one hand, SUPER PABLO held it still,
then set every passenger down safe – what skill!
“Hooray, SUPER PABLO!” the people cheered with glee.
But the storm kept on growing, as big as could be!
High on a crane, a tiny kitten cried.
“I've got you, little one!” he said – a gentle glide.
Then – BOOM, BOOM, BOOM! – the street began to shake:
Doctor Storm's robot wanted everything to break!
SUPER PABLO stood his ground, come what may:
“Stop right there, robot! Not in my city, no way!”
He flew around its legs, a long rope in his hand:
one loop, two loops… all tied up, it couldn't stand!
The robot wobbled, tripped, and… KA-THUMP!
It fell on its bottom in the square with a giant BUMP!
SUPER PABLO pressed the red OFF button – BEEP!
And the robot slumped and snored, fast asleep.
“GRRR!” roared Doctor Storm from his airship. “Enough!
My thunder machine will teach you – now it gets rough!”
SUPER PABLO flew into the heart of the storm,
dodging lightning bolts of every shape and form.
He grabbed the thunder machine and held on tight,
then bent it like a pretzel with all his might!
The machine sputtered: PFFF! CRACK! BANG! No more rain!
The black clouds drifted off… goodbye, hurricane!
He carried Doctor Storm, tied up and grumbling loud,
straight down to the police – no villain allowed!
And out came the sun again, golden and bright,
with a giant rainbow over the city – what a sight!
The mayor gave him a medal of shining gold,
and the city cheered: “Our hero, so brave and bold!”
“Until next time, city!” he said, and off he flew,
leaving a red trail as the sunset shone through!
Through the window he slipped, without a peep,
and smiled in silence: his secret, his to keep!
“What did you do today?” Dad asked. “Anything new?”
“Nothing special…” said Pablo, winking, mid-chew!
In bed by the window he gave a sleepy sigh:
the city slept… till tomorrow! Bye-bye!
If anyone needs help, you know who'll be there:
SUPER PABLO, the bravest hero anywhere!
